El gran reemplazo

El gran reemplazo^[1]​^[2]​ o la gran sustitución^[3]​^[4]​ (Le grand remplacement en francés) es una teoría conspirativa de extrema derecha,^[5]​^[6]​^[7]​^[8]​^[9]​^[10]​^[11]​^[12]​ según la cual los franceses blancos católicos y la población blanca cristiana europea en general^[13]​ está siendo sistemáticamente reemplazada con pueblos no europeos,^[12]​ específicamente árabes, bereberes, levantinos, norteafricanos y subsaharianos,^[10]​ a través de la inmigración masiva, el crecimiento demográfico y una caída en la tasa de natalidad europea.^[14]​ Asocia la presencia de musulmanes en Francia con un potencial peligro y destrucción de la cultura y civilización francesas.^[15]​

Usualmente, culpa a una élite global y liberal,^[13]​ como la Unión Europea, de dirigir un complot o mecanismo para llevar a cabo el reemplazo de los pueblos europeos.^[11]​

Fue popularizada por Renaud Camus. Este concepto de reemplazo, o el de «genocidio blanco», se ha replicado a través de la retórica de varios movimientos de extrema derecha en Occidente.^[16]​ Entre sus principales promotores no solo están los partidos populistas de derecha, sino también una amplia red de movimientos protestatarios (por ejemplo Pegida), grupúsculos ideológicos (por ejemplo Les Identitaires),^[17]​ blogueros (por ejemplo Lauren Southern)^[18]​ y periodistas (por ejemplo Eric Zemmour). Importantes sitios web de derecha, tales como Gates of Vienna, Politically Incorrect y France de Souche, han ofrecido a los blogueros plataformas para difundir la teoría.^[19]​
